“Voodoo Magic” is a tribute to Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water” and compares the sound today’s computers make to the call of Rock and Roll’s raw high powered energy.
A true story about a sold-out Black Angel show at the Roxy Theater in Hollywood, California, the single has an exciting history. Black Angel was the headliner, and the opening band’s manager was with the Hells Angels. The club was packed to the rafters with bikers plus two busloads of postal workers and 150 carloads of people from Santa Barbara who came to see Black Angel. Needless to say, it was an exciting experience and a great time was had by all!
Black Angel is currently booking shows for 2021 and writing new material for an upcoming album.
