Saso Sandic – Cryin Spade
GENRE Pop / Rock
Slovenian born singer-songwriter Saso Sandic (pronounced Sasho Sandik) arrived in New York in 2014, studied under guitarist Oz Noy (Warren Haynes, Nile Rodgers), who went on to produce Sandic’s debut album, “Alley Raven.”
Saso explores themes of war, evil, gender, and confusion with thought-provoking lyrics, undeniable hooks, and performances from many of the world’s most iconic session and touring players, including Keith Carlock (Steely Dan), Tony Garnier (Bob Dylan), Clifford Carter (James Taylor), Mike Visceglia (Jackson Browne), Kevin Bents (Spin Doctors), Joe Bonadio (Sting), James Genus (Herbie Hancock), Jeff Kazee (Roger Waters), and Oz Noy. Saso performs regularly at venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, and Shrine while continuing to write, play, and explore New York City.
