Proof that rock bands can still find streaming success in 2020. Greg Hoy & The Boys Green Hits a Music Milestone of 32K streams on Spotify.

There’s never been a more important time to make art than right now! The ease of technology allows anyone to write, to sing, to record and make something brand new right out of thin air. It’s the only way we’re all gonna survive through the fog of uncertainty.

Band Name: Greg Hoy & The Boys

Song name: Green

Music Genre:: Rock

I live in : San Francisco

We can never know the struggle behind the smile. ‘Green’ has been in the set for several years now. We’ve finally released the definitive recorded version. Recorded in Chicago mostly live with the legendary Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies) and mixed in Oregon by the equally amazing Sylvia Massy (Tom Petty, Tool, Johnny Cash), ‘Green’ has all the things we love in a song: a great story, a fun melody, and a dance beat.

Greg Hoy from California band Greg Hoy & The Boys reaches out to Jacqueline Jax about their upcoming tour, new singles and what’s ahead for 2020. They also discussed the current state of the music business and how indie bands are connecting with their fans. This was an exciting interview full of good energy. I think you’ll enjoy it.
